Sylvester Fox

A relatively quick painty sketch of someone who's been floating around my head lately. Ladies and gentlemen (but especially ladies!), may I introduce you to Sylvester Fox! You can call him Sly though.

Until further notice, this sillyhead is a vampire, because it's close enough to what he might be, but it'll require more research to figure out what the heck he actually is. Zall's I know is, he ain't human, he can walk up walls and move super-dee-duper fast, and he has fangs. (He also has some sort of Super-Saiyan mode in which all his teeth become needle-sharp and his eyes turn white. IDK, I find it sexy.)

All that ambiguity aside, so far his story is that he belongs to a younger, but noble up-and-coming clan of vampires. While most of his clan behaves more regally and dignified, Sly is a bit more feral and immature. He is employed as a hit man/scout of sorts, but he refers to himself as "the attack dog", knowing full well that his animalistic nature is what makes him useful. Sly is never seen without a big manic grin across his face, usually accompanied by a wild stare.

In this storyverse, vampires have a tradition of looking after a human and referring to them as a "pet"; one of the things that separates clans is how they treat said pets. Wilder, more brutal clans will kidnap humans and force them into this arrangement, and proceed to do whatever the hell they want to them. Clans like Sly's, however, consider the arrangement to be a mutual, consensual relationship which must be approved by the counsel that runs the clan. While most vampires take pets occasionally, and only when they feel attached to the human, Sly is rarely ever without a pet, and he has a preference for timid, younger girls - mainly because he likes to scare the crap out of them to see their reaction. (He's kind of a douche like that, but he treats them well otherwise.)

He's basically got a very puckish personality, and he likes getting reactions out of people, whether they're good or bad. He's kinda like the puppy who chews the crap out of your favorite shoes and waits smugly for you to discover them.

Sly is also very touchy-feely. That is, he enjoys invading people's personal space, whether it be by resting his elbows on your shoulders (and his chin on the top of your head if you're short enough), throwing his arm around your neck like you're old college chums, or standing on the ceiling above you and staring you in the face upside-down, three inches away from your face. This does not make his pets feel any more at ease. In fact, some of his pets are downright terrified of him and are under the impression that Sly would kill them if they don't go along with everything he does. He finds this hilarious.

Also I am pleased that I used no reference for this. It started off with me just wanting to draw his smug grin, and that turned into wanting to draw his shoulders, then wanting to draw his torso, and well, it just blossomed from there. I don't need a reference when the images in my head are so real you can just about reach out and... TOUCH THEM. 8D
