Fallen Angel Series - 9

SERIES DESCRIPTION:
This image is part of a series I completed for my Advanced Drawing class. The theme I chose was "Falling and Fallen Angels" (one of my favorite subjects), and all of the pieces were done with graphite pencil, unspeakably crappy gouache, and delicious coffee. I also touched up the levels of all of them in Photoshop because the scanner ate the colors. :T

I chose the theme primarily because I wanted to draw some raw emotion and tumbling figures, and that's what I got. I was up all night completing this series... thank god for the abundance of coffee.

INDIVIDUAL DESCRIPTION:
Another one that I happen to be really really proud of. I mean INSANELY proud of. It's another composite reference, a combination of the ever talented Wookiestock's [link] (from the humorously named "Hot Salsa" series, I had to mention that) and the intensely powerful [link] (I loved how, when I was in the computer lab working on this, people always walked up to see what I was drawing, then jumped about two feet when they saw this reference on the screen).

It was more than a pleasure making those teeth sharp and blanking out those eyes... I still don't know why I love the look of blank white eyes, but I do.
